5 ways to have a Successful Fundraiser and unique

Copyright (c) 2008 AIM Funding

When planning a fundraiser is easy to get caught on things that are not all that much difference in the outcome of the sale. Here are five things that if you take into account when planning your campaign funds, make a difference in the benefit to your school.

Here are five things that a school or group can do that As will significantly affect the amount of the increase in the money with its new fundraising event:

Step # 1 – Percentage of earnings does not profit.

A business that benefits 90% reduction of a company that offers a benefit of 20% is not necessarily a better deal for the school. Remember that schools can not file on your bank account as a percentage, but allowed to deposit money. Most schools look at percentage of profit that the number one priority when choosing what they choose in their collection of new funds are to come. What I say here does not mean profit percentage is not important, but priority should be the first and only school to choose their fundraising next new and unique. Must be the school number one goal to raise the maximum benefit with the least hassle!

Step # 2 – The product you sell is the difference (but not as much as you might think) Coming up with the right product for your campaign news is a difference, however, is the most important factor for a successful fundraiser. You've probably seen in your own neighborhood, how two schools decide to sell cookie dough and they sell them at the same time, and at the same price. But unlike their results (Profits) have been huge! So we must conclude that was not the product that makes the difference. So what makes the big difference? Hint, see Step # 5!

Step # 3 – The time of your funds as collector at the beginning of the school year as possible

When you take your fundraising is a very important aspect of their success. It is a fact that the first school undiputed sales brochure goes into an office or a neighborhood has an increase in sales that comes last. However, the time is not the # 1 reason why schools have fundraising events successfully. Hint, see Step # 5!

Step 4 – Choose a dynamic individual to lead its new fundraising!

The thrill of a Fundraising begins with the person above. The person who organizes the collection of new funding for the tone and level of emotion and affect participation sale. Yes, the attitude of the promoter of fundraising and enthusiasm have a very important role in the outcome of the new fundraising.

Step # 5 – Program Management (How does the fundraising) is the number one factor for success.

Program management is the most important to have a successful fundraiser. You may know that the "how" the school fundraiser is run is essential for success but the main problem is not that companies raising funds to train developers to raise funds for good management of the program. "

Here are some key elements of program management:

A) Definition of educational objectives

B) Kick Off memorable

C) maintaining the enthusiasm for the duration of the sale

D) The search for appropriate volunteers

E) Encourage students / Suppliers

F) to encourage teachers and staff to promote the sale.

To get the best sales fundraising new students / sellers must be duly substantiated. You can even go so far as to provide an incentive for teachers staff / well.

The main reason for a "Basic $ 8,000 mark, while another similar school will make $ 15.500, is the way they made their money and incentives for students and their teachers!

We at AIM have a saying "The students could sell tickets $ 5 to $ 10.00 and do really well if sufficiently motivated good. "The most important part of your fundraising will be to provide incentives that really motivate the students and teachers to participate in the sale as never did before! An increase of 15% participation miserable can easily double the school fundraising typical. Participation is not difficult to grow by 15%.
